Retirement Runway is a planning tool. This page explains what it stores and how to remove it.

Without an account

Everything you enter is kept in your browser's local storage. Once you've made a plan of your own, it's also backed up online under an anonymous id, with no name or email, so it can be restored if this browser's copy is lost. Backups that aren't used for 90 days may be deleted.

To turn this off, open Settings and choose Stop backing up. That deletes the backup, and your plan is then kept in this browser only.

With an account

• We store your email address, used only to sign you in.
• We store the plan you enter: savings, income, expenses, ages, dates and settings. Projections are calculated in your browser and aren't stored.
• Data is stored with Supabase and is only readable by your signed-in account. The site is served by Cloudflare.
• We don't sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics.

Your choices

• Download your data: Settings → Export saves your whole plan as a file.
• Delete your account: Settings → Delete account permanently removes your account and saved plan.
• Sign out: removes the plan from the device you're using; it stays in your account.
